We are happy to announce that we have created a set of responsive design email broadcast templates that are now automatically included in the broadcast template list. We have also updated the broadcast email footer to included Facebook and Twitter icons that automatically link to your social pages if you have them configured in the admin area.
Use one of the new templates to send professionally formatted broadcast emails that are very mobile friendly.
There are 8 templates to select from initially. And you can modify any of the templates and save them as your own custom templates. Just select the option to Save as Template when sending the message.
How to send a message using a template: To send a broadcast using a template go to the email broadcast area and click the email broadcast form link. At the top of the form select the Load Template menu. Select one of the following options to load the corresponding template into the message editor. You can customize the template once it has been loaded:
Image Header With Simple Text:

This template has a header image placement spot that you can replace with your own image.
The content area automatically includes the member first and last name tags. You can type your own content into the main section or any other spot.
If your website has a logo uploaded the logo will automatically be at the bottom of the message.

To replace the header image in the email template double click the image in the editor then click the browse server button. Select the image from your website or upload a new one using the upload button and select that image.
In the image properties window set the width of the image to be 500 pixels, and set the height to be blank (no value). This will allow the image to appear at the right size on mobile devices and desktop programs like Outlook.
