Text Message Notifications for Calendar Events Updated On: Feb 54, 2018 The calendar event notification scheduling now has a text message option. You can select Email to send the normal email notification or select the new Text w/Email Backup option. The Text w/Email Backup option will send a text message for the event notification to all users who are setup to receive text messages. Any user who is not setup to receive text messages will get an email version of the text message sent to them.
