Resource Groups

Resource groups allow you to provide information to specific groups of users only. You can create an unlimited number of resource groups. For example, you can create a resource group called Executive Board, and then assign all of the executive board member users to this group.
User Mailing Lists

Mailing lists are used in the Broadcast Email area to send communication emails to members that are part of the specific mailing list. Members can select which mailing lists they want to be a part of when they register online with the website.
Importing User Database

When we setup your UnionActive site, we can initially import a user database for your website if you don't want to have users use the online registration process. You will need to provide us with a database of the user information, as well as decide on a standard format for the username and password for each user. We will then import your initial user list.
Exporting User Database

You can export the entire user database for your website using the Export User Database link in the Administration area > members tab. Click the Export Data link, and then click the Create Export File button to start the export. Once the process is complete, a link will appear that will allow you to download the user file.
Adding and Removing Users

To manage users who have already registered with the website, go to the Administration area, and click the User Administration link. From this area you can add new users, search for existing users, and delete users. When you search for a user a list of search results will appear with links to the individual settings for each user.
User Security Levels

MEMBERS Members are users that have been approved for standard access to the site. Members can view members only information like password protected pages and articles. Members can access built-in protected resources like message boards, member directories, and any other password protected resource.
Forgot Password Link

If a member forgets their login information they can use the Forgot Username/Password link to have their login info emailed to the email address in the database for the member. The Forgot Username/Password link is located on the login page, or on some sites it is located in the member login box.
